About Us

Frank Hill commenced his working life with Stramit Industries in 1968.  He attended Hobart Technical College and completed a Diploma in Business Studies.  He also studied for a Diploma of Quantity Surveying, which he completed in 1974.  To complete his Diploma, Frank left Stramit Industries and worked for Jennings Housing as their Assistant Estimator.  He left Jennings and worked for another roofing company until returning to Stramit Industries in 1978, as the State Manager and was also elected to the Board of Directors.
In 1986, Stramit Industries was taken over by K.H. Industries, so Frank left to work for another roofing company as State Manager until leaving in 1991 to commence his own business.  Frank Hill Roofing commenced business in September 1991, employing just two contractors.
